STEP ONE: Education Consultation

At PCS we value personal relationships and close community. Because we want families to feel engaged on every level, parents are invited to experience our campuses through an Education Consultation with one of our principals.  

This consultation, which is an essential component of our admissions process, will focus on your aspirations for your child’s academic preparation, faith, and Christian leadership development. It will also provide us with insight into your child’s gifts and areas of need. In addition, you will receive a tour of our campus. Both parents are strongly encouraged to attend.

If you are unable to visit us personally prior to submitting your application, please contact our Admissions Office and they will provide you with the instructions necessary to proceed with our admissions process. 

Whether you choose to enroll or not, we hope that you come away with a deeper understanding of your child’s unique abilities and needs, as well as Portland Christian’s commitment to families through faith-based education.

STEP TWO: Shadow Day

Students in grades K-12 are also invited to participate in a shadow day at either our Market Street or San Rafael campus. Your child will be hosted by a current PCS student of the same gender, sit in on classes, meet staff, and enjoy a complimentary lunch. 

 

STEP THREE: Admissions Application

The final step is to complete your admissions application, which we encourage you to do through our online admissions form. These online forms can be found in the right hand column of the page. Simply click the appropriate program -- ECE, Elementary (K-5th), Jr/Sr High School (6th-12th) or ISP -- and follow the instructions to begin your application. Passwords for the Elementary and Jr/Sr High School programs will be provided at the time of your consultation. No password is requried for the ECE and ISP applications.

Families who prefer to apply with a paper form can obtain those materials at the time of their consultation or contact either the Market Street or San Rafael Campus Office.
