INTERNATIONAL STUDENT APPLICATION PROCESS

You may apply on-line or you may submit an application by mail or in person.  You may use this Application Documents Checklist to help you track your progress.  Please complete the following steps to complete your application packet:

1.  Complete and submit an application form.

To submit an application by mail: Mail a hard copy of your application, completed in black ink or typed, with the application fee, to:

2.  Additional documents required:  Submit the following required supplemental forms and documents. You may send hard copy forms by mail to the address above, scan and e-mail them to Mrs. Sheila Tretter, or FAX them to the attention of Mrs. Sheila Tretter at 503-256-2773.

o    ISP Parent Commitment - online form or print and submit a hard copy.

o    ISP Student Commitment - online form or print and submit a hard copy.

o    ISP Recommendations from three non-family members - these confidential recommendation forms should be sent to us separately. The individuals you request to complete the recommendations may do so online using the links below, or they may print off hard copies of the forms, complete them, and submit them as instructed above.

o    Certificate of Immunization Status - please submit a hard copy as instructed above.

o    Emergency Treatment and Extra Curricular Activities form - please print off the PDF, sign, and submit a hard copy as instructed above.

o    Physical Exam Report from Doctor - please submit a hard copy as instructed above.

o    Income Statement - please provide a letter from your (parent's) employer or other document verifying annual income; please submit a hard copy as instructed above.

o    Savings Letter - please provide a letter from your (parent's) bank verifying your savings accounts and current balance; please submit a hard copy as instructed above.

o    Official English Transcripts of all academic work completed from grade eight (8) to present - please submit a hard copy as instructed above.

o    Copy of the identification page of the student’s passport - please submit a hard copy as instructed above.

o    Current original computer-based TOEFL or SLEP score - please submit a hard copy as instructed above.

 

3.   Pay the application fee of $250 per student. Application fees are non-refundable.  If you are applying online, once you click "Submit," you will be redirected to complete the payment information.  If you choose to pay the application fee by wire transfer, please contact sheila.tretter@pcschools.org or call 503-256-3960 x261 for instructions.  If you are mailing your application, please include a check or money order made payable to "Portland Christian Schools."

 

Once your application and fee have been received, PCS will contact you and will begin to process your application.
