2025-2026 Middle & High School Scholarships

This scholarship is open to students who have a parent who is an alumnus of Portland Christian Schools.

1. All required documents must be received no later than 4:00 pm on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
2. Your application will not be considered unless all required documents are received by the deadline.
3. Contact the PCS Business Office if you have any questions about your submitted application.

2. Submit an online application (find the form below these instructions, at the bottom of this page).
3. Your scholarship application requires the following 3 documents in addition to filling out the form below.
   • Student Response (see detailed information below)
   • Alumnus Parent Response (see detailed information below)
   • Personal Reference from an individual such as a Sunday School teacher or an adult friend (NOT a parent).
     • Use this Reference Request form. Your reference should send their document directly to PCS.
     • Do NOT ask a PCS teacher or staff member for a reference.

The student is to write responses to the four numbered questions below. There is no expectation of a minimum or maximum length. The student will upload the responses (PDF or doc format) as part of the application form. Do NOT include your name or other personally identifying information in your responses. Your application and essay will be assigned a number and will be separated from personally identifying information before being forwarded to the selection committee.

1. Your parent(s) attended PCS many years ago. Why do YOU want to attend Portland Christian?
2. God created you in His image. How do you see the image of God in yourself?
3. Yet none of us is perfect! What is one challenge in your life that you would like to overcome? What steps will you take toward doing so?
4. One way we love God is by serving other people. How do you see yourself putting this into action?

3. How has your view of PCS changed or been confirmed since sending your child here?
