2025-26 OCF-Weston Scholarship
This scholarship is made possible by a generous grant from the Joseph E. Weston Foundation through the Oregon Community Foundation (OCF).
The OCF-Weston scholarship is open to:
- students who will be entering the 6th, 7th, or 9th grade in the fall of 2025
- transfer students (6th – 12th grades) from a public school
- PCS 2024 recipients (Check with the PCS Business Office for your eligibility to apply for a renewal)
Application deadline:
The completed online application form, including essays, and the FACTS Grant & Aid Application must be received no later than 5:00 PM on January 10, 2025. Your application will not be considered unless all required documents are received by the deadline. Contact the PCS Business Office if you have any questions about your submitted application.
How to apply:
- Read the “Parameters for Portland Christian Schools Scholarships“.
- Submit a completed online application form (find the form below these instructions, at the bottom of this page). The application form requires two essays:
- Student essay answering the following questions. There is no expectation of a minimum or maximum length for the essay. Upload the essay below as part of the application form.
- DO NOT include your name or other personally identifying information in your essay. The application will be assigned a number and will be separated from personally identifying information before being forwarded to the selection committee.
- Explain why you would like to attend (or continue attending) Portland Christian School.
- What is a meaningful experience, class, or teacher you’ve had in school?
- How has it affected you personally?
- If applicable, how did it affect your faith?
- What do you hope to do or experience in the coming school year?

- Please explain any special circumstances that you believe impact this application.
- Why is it important to you that your child attend Portland Christian?
