When to Apply
We encourage families to begin the application process as soon as possible. The application must be completed and all supplemental documents submitted to the admissions office before an applicant can progress to the next step in the admissions process. A non-refundable application fee of $175 must be submitted with each application.
We do not have an application deadline and will continue to accept applications as long as there is space available.
If you are interested in applying for Scholarships or
Variable Tuition, your application for enrollment needs to be submitted by February to take full advantage of those programs and meet their deadlines.
Testing
All K-12 students who apply for admission to Portland Christian will be tested. We use the MAP (Measure of Academic Progress) test. If your student has current MAP test scores, we can waive the testing.
Interview
Once your application for admission, application fee, and all supplemental documents have been received, and student testing is completed, we will contact you to schedule a family interview with the campus principal. At Portland Christian we view education as a partnership between school and home. The family interview is an opportunity to get to know your family and learn more about your student.
Notification of Decision
Parents will be notified of the Admissions Committee’s admission decision through email after all of the above steps have been completed.
Enroll
If your student is accepted, we will offer you enrollment at Portland Christian by sending you an enrollment packet to complete. Once the enrollment packet is submitted, your student is officially enrolled at Portland Christian.
