Elementary Baseball

Elementary Athletics

From daily recesses to team sports to open gym time, we give our youngest students many opportunities to move around, have fun, and enjoy being active kids.

These early experiences help prepare them for more structured athletics in middle school, where they can further refine their skills. In addition to learning sportsmanship and perseverance, student-athletes learn to apply a Christ-like perspective and attitude on and off the field. By participating in elementary sports, students also gain confidence, learn the value of practice, and enjoy the camaraderie of being part of a team, setting a strong base for future athletic opportunities.

Portland Christian volunteers are required to complete CYO Coach Certification, background clearance (link will be provided), and annual  Adult/Youth Contact Training. Please complete and sign the Agreement of Compliance for Adult/Youth Contact when you have completed the training and submit a copy to the school office at your campus.
